Jordan Hotels Association Explores Opportunities to Strengthen Cooperation with the Arab Federation for Hotels and Tourism

The Jordan Hotels Association welcomed His Excellency Ambassador Tajeddine Ousselani, Vice President of the Arab Federation for Hotels and Tourism, in the presence of the Chairman of the Association, Mr. Hussein Hilalat, Vice Chairman Mr. Hani Dabbas, and the Board Members. The meeting was held within the framework of enhancing mutual cooperation and coordination between the two organizations in support of the hotel and tourism sectors in Jordan and across the Arab world.

During the meeting, both parties discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and explored avenues for strengthening cooperation in the fields of tourism and hospitality. Discussions also focused on the exchange of expertise, knowledge, and successful experiences that can contribute to the growth of the sector and reinforce its economic and developmental role.

Chairman of the Jordan Hotels Association, Mr. Hussein Hilalat, emphasized that the Association places great importance on fostering Arab partnerships and expanding cooperation with specialized institutions and federations. He noted that such collaboration contributes to the advancement of Jordan’s hotel sector and enhances its competitiveness at both the regional and international levels.

For his part, His Excellency Ambassador Tajeddine Ousselani reaffirmed the Arab Federation for Hotels and Tourism’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Jordan Hotels Association. He commended the distinguished position of Jordan’s tourism sector and the significant achievements it has attained across the region.

Vice Chairman of the Association, Mr. Hani Dabbas, highlighted the importance of joint Arab action in addressing the challenges facing the tourism industry. He stressed that strengthening cooperation and facilitating the exchange of expertise among Arab institutions play a vital role in advancing the tourism sector and achieving greater growth and sustainability.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties underscored the importance of maintaining ongoing coordination and communication and working towards the launch of joint initiatives and cooperative programs that support the tourism and hospitality sectors while enhancing their contribution to Arab economic development.
